Knitting Lessons the sequel

I just finished knitting my first wool cover and I'm SO excited! You can go back to this post to see the beginning part of the process, if you're curious.  I'm still very new to knitting 3D garments so this is all very VERY exciting to me!  I can't believe I did it and it only took a little over a week and a half!!! Woo hoo!!! I love wool.  I'm in a new love affair with wool covers and all natural fitteds/prefolds/contour diapers.  Putting natural fabrics on my daughter always cures her diaper rashes right away.

The blue one is the one my friend made me.  I made some changes to it to make mine (the yellow and purple one), namely shortening the rise and lengthening the ribbing at the waist and legs.  In addition, I thought it would be cute to add another ruffle.  What do you think?

Becca, that looks amazing! I am green with envy (or maybe yellow and purple, haha). Honestly, how hard was it? I have moderate knitting skills and can whip out a scarf and or small blanket without any problems, but I'm not sure about diaper covers. Great job and thanks so much for sharing the process with us!
