Diaper Changing or Diaper Wrestling?

I'm not sure if I can tell the difference these days when it comes to changing Bunny's diaper.  What used to be a calm and happy time of becoming dry and clean is now an all-out wrestling match.  She used to love to get her diaper changed and suddenly, now that she's becoming increasingly mobile (she's crawling and working on walking--YIKES!) she hates getting her diaper changed, and sometimes, not even a toy in her face will distract her from the task.
I think she has officially entered the stage of temper tantrums, too.  No, I know she has.  She throws temper tantrums frequently now, and I am pretty sure to get one any time it comes to changing her diaper! Maybe I should put her in diapers that feel wet against her skin rather than in these types that wick the moisture away and keep her too comfortable...

My Little guy is exactly the same way. He is 14 months old:) My husband recently asked me if I thought our son had developmental delays because he will not sit still through a diaper change. I laughed at him and reminded him that all babies do this. He does not remember our 1st doing it. lol . Its just a phase, pretty soon they will lay still again:)

I have found with my 2 yr old that sometimes the floor of the living room works so much better. And if he has a favorite cartoon at the moment, I put it on for the change. Even if we don't watch much, it helps distract him. He throws the tantrums when we change on the table, but on the floor is usually not as bad. Just a thought... and you are sooo not alone :)
