We got back from a week long vacation last night and it was wonderful! We went to a small, Christian retreat center in the mountains and did a lot of sleeping, eating, swimming, paddleboating, hiking, minigolfing, and we visited lots of reptiles in the nature center and discovered that Bunny loves reptiles. There were no TVs, barely any cell reception, and the tiniest bit of wifi that we used on our smartphones to play scrabble with each other and whoever else was online. I cloth diapered and mama clothed, of course, and washed them while there which will probably make its way into a post for the Cloth Diaper Blog sometime soon, but for now, I just want to revel in having done nothing for a week--having accomplished nothing but relaxation and time spent with my little family. Maybe tomorrow or Monday I'll start back to blogging, sewing, and making videos. Maybe. For now, I'm going to sit here and play with Bunny and my sweet husband, and maybe catch up on dishes and laundry.
