I was so inspired by WhistleFritz that I decided to put one of Bunny's bilingual books into a DVD for her to watch. You'll notice, if you're familiar with Whistlefritz, that the vocabulary introduced in the beginning is done pretty much the same way that they introduce theirs. This is not because I'm copying them, but because that's the way to teach Spanish. I've taught Spanish that way for eight years (which is why I love Whistlefritz) so seeing their DVDs just inspired me to put my training to good use.
This is not to say that this video is great. It's adequate. But Bunny likes it and that's all that matters to me. Maybe your kids will like it too. Who knows? I hope someone else finds it useful! I definitely plan on using it in my classroom and on making more like it in the future!
Without further ado--Are You My Mother? in Spanish!
